Powershot A80, Day One

Created on: Sun, 26 Oct 2003

This technically isn't "day one", as that was yesterday - but I've only just had a chance to really go out and play with the thing...

I took these photos around our house to try out my new toy, a Canon Powershot A80. They are all taken using the ISO 50 setting, with the white balance manually set to "cloudy" (it was cloudy, and the auto- white balance setting isn't too smart). In the shot of the flowering grass (purple flowers) I'd manually overidden the aperature to F2.8. All the rest were shot in P mode (the same mode I have my SLR in most of the time). They all use the "fine" jpeg compression setting.
