A government with a scandal on its hand that's actually (gasp) got the press asking hard questions about it. Wait, what's this I see in the paper today? Government's going to open up media ownership laws? Er, what was that scandal thing again? Ah, never mind, mate!
Hmm I don't particlarly mind the ownership laws being watered down, but the continued restriction on the number of channel licences sucks. Although I assume that "Two digital services by 2007" is basically two digital channels that will be open to bidding from non-tv operators as well.
