Please describe your Python packages!
This is getting frustrating. I subscribe to the PyPI RSS feed and far too often entries posted contain no description or they have something equally useless like "A wrapper for Shrubbery". What the hell is a "Shrubbery" and why should I care?
The second frustration is when a package has a somewhat useful short description "A package for doing spammish things" but there's no further information: there's no longer description, and the home page link points at the PyPI page itself. Nothing for the curious Python developer to get an idea of what the package does. Compare this with the Roundup Issue Tracker PyPI entry.
I have to ask in all seriousness why even bother uploading to the index if you can't be arsed to put in a description?
