This weblog now implements rel="nofollow" for links in comments - those links will not be indexed by Google, MSN, Yahoo! etc so don't even bother putting spam here.

Update: Just got my first new comment spam since introducing this. Sigh.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the comments will still be indexed, it's just that the fact that they refer to a URL won't influence that URL's pagerank, no?

I have edited my description of how it works to be more accurate (my initial understanding wasn't correct, and I wrote / edited the text in haste).
